Chelsea & Garrett 5/20/17

Almost one year later from their backyard wedding in 2016, everyone got together again for an even bigger celebration of Chelsea & Garrett. It felt so much like a reunion and we were so happy to be a part of it! There were concerns if rainy weather would hold off for us, but the day wound up working in our favor after all. The ceremony area of the Sculpture Garden felt like a cathedral in the middle of Bridgeport and the semi-opaque roof filtered the light in the most perfect way. Everything was fantastic including the band, the food, the venue, and the company. I'd be lying if I said there weren't a few hard parts of the day where Chelsea's Dad's absence was felt by everyone, but I think we all did a great job remembering that this day was meant to be a celebration, and that he would have wanted it to stay that way. A huge thank you to Maria Collins from Plum & Ivy Events for keeping all of us sane throughout the day, as well as the rest of our fellow vendors!
